On macOS the easiest start is HAPP: the subscription comes from a link, the interface is clear and routing is built in. The alternatives are Karing, FlClashX and Koala Clash.
Every client below follows the same sequence: install, add the subscription, connect, then short notes on using it. Moving to a different client later takes no searching around.
